For founder Nadia Nima, Napa Valley has always been more than a place on the map. Raised in the Bay Area, she grew up visiting its vineyards and quiet country lanes, collecting memories in the light and stillness of wine country. For thirteen years, her work in design, photography, and travel took her across the globe, refining her eye for beauty, detail, and the art of a well-lived moment.
When she returned in 2024, it was to deepen her wine education and expand AugustSeptember, her stemware brand born from an obsession with how a glass can transform a pour. She quickly noticed something missing. Napa offered world-class wine and scenery, yet not the kind of experience she knew it could provide. One defined by discretion, atmosphere, and access at its core.
NIMA BLACK became her answer.
